  Where am I headed in this daily race, When trials rise and shadows cloud my heart? Am I still walking in my Savior’s pace, Or drifting slowly from the sacred start? The call is clear, yet comfort tempts my soul, To turn aside from crosses God has shaped. But deep within, His purpose makes me whole, Each step with Him, no path by fear escaped. Quo vadis, Lord? I ask in silent prayer, Guide me to serve with courage, truth, and light. When burdens weigh, remind me You are there, My strength renewed to follow through the night.   Today in Pherzawl, the tournament unfolds, The village stirs with laughter in the air, A stranger draped in longing quietly holds A fading autumn, thirty years laid bare. 'twas in 1995, its golden rays, Still warm the shaded ground where soft hearts meet; We sat apart from play, lost in a haze, Unmoved by noisy battle at our feet. The teams, with all their struggling in the mud, Chased glory we let quietly pass by; We spoke in glances, love’s shy, drifting blood, Content beneath the gentle, watching sky.   They struck at Charlie Kirk to still the Word, But truth is flame the wicked cannot bind. As Jeremiah’s cry, his voice is heard, A hammer shattering the lies of time. Like blood of Abel, crying from the ground, His witness rises, thundering through the air. Though kings may rage, their thrones cannot confound The voice anointed by the Lord of prayer. For though the prophets fell by sword and stone, Their breath became an everlasting psalm. So through the storm his louder voice is known, A righteous fire no darkness can embalm.
