The Voice They Could Not Silence

They struck at Charlie Kirk to still the Word,

But truth is flame the wicked cannot bind.

As Jeremiah’s cry, his voice is heard,

A hammer shattering the lies of time.

Like blood of Abel, crying from the ground,

His witness rises, thundering through the air.

Though kings may rage, their thrones cannot confound

The voice anointed by the Lord of prayer.

For though the prophets fell by sword and stone,

Their breath became an everlasting psalm.

So through the storm his louder voice is known,

A righteous fire no darkness can embalm.

The vices strike, but God will lift his name,

And through the ages, truth will burn the same.
